There are always going to be die hard traditionalists who believe Christmas dinner should be hot and heavy, even when the temperatures soar.  My theory is generally the people who insist on traditional with all the trimming are rarely the ones slaving over the stove in a hot kitchen for hours on end.

None the less, I am a big believer in tradition, although the Aussie way with seafood thankfully seems to have been largely accepted as the norm these days.
