The fruit for this wine was hand selected by Jay Tulloch (JYT) from a tiny block of Shiraz in the heart of the original Parish of Pokolbin.
JYT recommends the 2014 vintage as possibly the best of the last two decades, with perfect vintage conditions delivering exceptional wines.
Colour: Deep Plum
Nose: Lifted notes of dry spice and blackcurrent layer over violets and cherries.
Palate: Epitome of Hunter Valley Shiraz. Firm velvet tannins layered over flavours or blackcurrents and plums. Well integrated oak gives the wine structure great persistence and length.
Cellaring: 1 – 25 years
