Kid Friendly Wineries In The Hunter Valley

Having kids doesn’t mean you have to miss out on a Hunter Valley escape! As Australia’s oldest wine region, the Hunter Valley is shedding the idea that wine country is just for adults. With its breathtaking scenery, award-winning wines, and plenty of family-friendly fun, Tulloch Wines is proud to play a part in making the Hunter a welcoming destination for everyone.

Say goodbye to stuffy tastings and restless kids. Cellar Doors are open to families, offering experiences that cater to all ages. From spacious outdoor areas perfect for little ones to run wild, to engaging activities and delicious food, there's something for everyone to enjoy at Tulloch.

It’s time to swap stories about nap schedules for tales of laughter, exploration, and unforgettable family memories. Tulloch Wines is ready—and this time, the whole family is invited.

The Importance of Choosing a Kid-Friendly Winery

Let's be honest, wrangling kids while trying to enjoy a wine tasting can be a challenge. That's where family-friendly wineries such as Tulloch Wines shine.

We’ve created a perfect balance for the whole family. Parents can relax and enjoy their wine tasting experience while the kids have a blast exploring and learning. At Tulloch, our open areas and fun lawn games are perfect for entertaining the kids. Trust us, your sanity (and your kids' happiness) will thank you!

Activities and Amenities for Kids at Wineries

Keeping the little ones happy and entertained is key to a successful family holiday. Tulloch understands this and offers a range of activities and amenities to make your visit enjoyable for everyone.

We offer large-scale lawn games such as Giant Jenga, Connect Four, 10-Pin Bowling, and more. But the fun doesn’t finish there. Our kids' Junior Experiences combines engaging activities (such as colouring in) and learning experiences with tasty treats!

This sensory experience is perfect for keeping the kids entertained and involved while you enjoy your wine tasting. Our specially prepared Junior Experience includes 4 different soft drinks & 4 matching snacks (nut & gluten-free). This can be added to any of our Adult Wine Tasting Experiences, a perfect idea for the next school holidays.

How about the older ones?

For the older kids, some Hunter Valley wineries offer unique experiences like cheese-making demonstrations or grape stomping activities. It's a great way to learn about the winemaking process in a fun and interactive way.

At Tulloch Wines, we've got you covered with non-alcoholic drinks. We offer a Teen Kombucha Tasting experience, perfect for older kids and designated drivers.

BOOK A WINE TASTING EXPERIENCE
